Mr. Bradly Irish serves as the Manager of Information Technology and the Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert for the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering.
Mr. Irish is a certified teacher and taught information technology and engineering in Public and Private Schools from 1996-2006 with breaks after 2001 for military deployments. He is also a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency certification candidate and holds a Certified Information System Security Professional certification in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with minor in Accounting and Finance.
Mr. Irish served as an Information System Security Officer for Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command from September 2014 to April 2020. During that time, he performed multiple deployments to the Pacific Missile Range Complex on the SS Pacific Tracker.
Prior to that, he served as an Antiterrorism Team Engineer, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Senior Enlisted Advisor for Facilities and Construction, and Command Sergeant Major of an Army Engineer Training Brigade. He is entering his 32nd year as an Army Reservist and has received The Bronze Order of the DeFleury for significant contributions to Army Engineering as well as two Meritorious Service Medals and the Bronze Star Medal for actions in combat.
Mr. Irish and his wife, Sabra (the true backbone of the family), are ringleaders of a daily circus consisting of four children under age eleven, two dogs that are larger than any of the children, a variety of foster animals and people that they welcome into their lives, and the occasional chicken.
Mr. Irish relaxes by doing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) three days a week, lifting weights, completing Honey-Do lists, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out at the cigar lounge with friends.
